Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
HSFA as described by AHA: Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives.

Course Content:
Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first aid training in Fort Collins. This course also teaches adult CPR and AED certification in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid, CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. HSFA is a class needed for the layman. In Colorado HSFA is required for Teachers, and Licensed Day Care Providers. Other personnel that may consider HSFA are Personal Trainers.
Our Fort Collins first aid training, AED, and CPR class is usually taught within 5 hours. This class is taught using a video, you practice along and show skills during class. There is no test at the end of this class. The student must attend the entire class if they need the HSFA FIRST AID CPR AED card. A student may only be required to have the HSFA FIRST AID card, so they would only need to attend the FIRST AID training in Fort Collins. Some may only need HSFA CPR, and they would only need the CPR portion. Others may need the HSFA CPR AED card, and they could take just the Fort Collins CPR and AED certification. This is easier to understand once you set your course. We show the First Aid portion of the video in the first portion of the class.
**Day Care Providers need the Pediatric portion of HSFA. It is a different card, and the video varies slightly. This covers more drowning and child/infant care. Request this when registering if needed.
